EX TERRAT (2016), 5min45
Reinhold Bidner (Animation, Video, Photography, Music and Sound)

Experimental animation based on urban exploring in Paris. The basic idea was to feel
inspired by the urban landscapes, the street art, the people and also certain fragments that
were found in museums while walking through Paris.
Based on that the main focus was laid on faces (but also atmospheres) that are rather on
the darker side of the spectrum. Out of the collected photo-/ film- and sound material quite
personal animated imagery and portraits were created through various techniques such as
Hand Drawn and Computer Animation, Morphing and Stop Motion.
This work tries to capture the contrasts of Paris in a rather abstract & individual
documentaric way.
